Artist History BAND HAS BEEN TOGETHER FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS.ACTIVELY PURSUING LABEL DEAL.Their talents also extend to the studio where they recorded and produced their own CD in 1998, This is America, which has sold close to 1,000 copies, mostly at performances and through their web site (see below). Filled with funky dance grooves, cutting guitars and powerful choruses, their songs tell stories of shattered dreams and explore many topics including spirituality, cynicism and eroticism. In 1999 they completed a five song demo entitled "Transmission". Jadestone boasts a successful radio promotion campaign which saw their songs play on over 100 college stations across the east coast of the USA, achieving several top 30 appearances. And "I Heard A Sound", the final track on This is America, was included on a compilation CD by Oasis CD which was distributed to an additional 300 radio stations nationwide.2000 brought JADESTONE closer to their goal when they released their 3rd CD: "And then they were two" which has been recieved with great response from a hand full of labels Jadestone is currently in touch with. The latest for the Florida band is the climbming to # 1 on the MP3 charts with over 100,000 downloads and still going! With a heavy schedule of shows all across the sunshine state and beyond, 2001 looks very promissing!! Jadestone members are also active in various organizations including TAXI, ASCAP, Songwriters in the Round and NARAS.
