Artist description
The tracks created by Jan Dintenbuch are the classic ambient tracks, that are based on random parameters. And he designs music for spoken performances or readings e.g of Edgar Allan Poe. "I like this because every story, every poem has it's own mood, so the music had to refer to them. Sometimes lovely, sometimes strange and scary." |

Artist History
Unfortunately I'm one of those poor guys who never learned to play an instrument. As a kid I was glad about it, now I regret it. I started using the good old C64 to record my music. Not being able to bring the pieces down to paper I was now able the construct music with midi data - it was more like painting. Music has a lot of to do with mathematics and so I experimented with basic software that created random pieces when I changed to the Atari. Those where simple programs, but I liked the idea of generated music. Nowadays I am working with more complex music-software. |
