Artist History The legend behind this band is shrouded in mystery, but tales are often told of a large, black egg, a porpoise and a hermaphroditic potato. What these tales have to do with our band is not certain, but all of our true fans know that we've been recording this BS since we were about 8. Ben (the original singer of The Pictures) and Denny (a younger kid who lived across the street from us,) were the band's founding members. Our friends Calder and Layton helped out with a song every once in a while. The band "broke up" and reformed repeatedly, never achieving any sort of form or focus. 8 years after their first recordings were created (a couple of them in a professional studio owned by Ben's father,) Ben's brother Tim learned to play the bass guitar and recorded a few songs with the band. They were so horrible that Tim, inspired by the online success of big-name mp3.com acts such as CoRn, The Bloody Buddies, Social Overdose, The Inhibitors and Beef Humper, decided to put them on the internet. So the band reformed under the permanent name "Crash And Burn" and various members have been recording miscellaneous garbage for their mp3.com site for over a year now.
