Artist description Band was originally formed in 1994. At that time they were known as Atlantis, then Spoon,Strangland and other basic garage band names.After a very brief and unsuccessful tour to Chicago the band returned home tired and exhasted and ready to begin again. This time with a name that meant something more.SevenHurts was chosen as a name as a play on words steming from the actuall frequency of 7 hrtz. 7 hrtz was attempted to be used by the Germans in WWII as sound warefare. The frequency cannot be heard by humansbut as the frequency passes thru the human body it can paralization of the nervous system if played at a high volume. People who came to see SevenHurts perform reported to have paralizing effects while listening and watching these talented musicians. Thus the name was appropriate.Deffinition of SEVENHURTS- An unfrequent frequency the frequently causes fulminations of the fundument.

Artist History After the death of our 24 year old drummer Bill the band reformed with a new drummer Mike in 97 and is featured here playing with the band on a shitty studio recording.Better versions of these songs were originally recorded onto 48 track digital reel to reel at the Enterprise Studio in Burbank California. After the death of Bill those recording allthough mixed and completed they had to be scrapedand new recordings had to be done since a new drummer was entering the band. However extensive money and time was put into the Enterprise recording and the band did not have the money to go back and record at such high quality again.These recoridngs were al done in one take. This is what the band sounds like COMPLETELY LIVE.MORPHEUS TRIP are the remnants of SevenHurts after a breakup in 1998
