Artist History
Unspun grew out of the early 90's NYC band Last Tribe. Last Tribe was signed to Energy Records, toured the states, regularly packing the best clubs in many Northeastern cities. They held their last concert at New York's Irving Plaza as headliners. Unspun has picked up where Last Tribe left off. Recording of their debut album "One" commenced in late 98 and finished up in the spring of 99. A second CD, "Souvenir" was released in late 2000. The band spent the year 2000 promoting both releases with shows in and around the Tri-state (NY, NJ, Penn.)area. They finished off the year by signing a deal with Universal/Republic Records. Universal will release Unspun's first single to radio in May/June of 2001. |
