Artist History The Liars originally formed as an avant-garde acid jazz quartet, opening the original Woodstock festival. This was especially impressive given the average age of the band members (3), and led to an almost cult-like underground following by the world's really cool people. Over the ensuing 30 years, the Liars have thrown off the confining shackles of acid jazz oppression and have focused on reinventing this thing called rock music. And, by gum, they rock with impunity!
