Artist History
The Habaneros were formed 1997at the University of Oregon by three young but seasoned musicians. They combine many different styles of music from around the world and throughout history to create uniquely organic and vibrant sounds.They have performed up and down the West Coast from Seattle to San Francisco with such artists as Critters Buggin', Wayne Horvitz and Zony Mash, Digital Underground, Groove Collective, Shelley Doty, and others.They are featured in the upcoming national film "Jacks" as actors and musicians, and their music was featured in the short film "Clem", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 1998.They are currently working on a remix album and a new studio record, more info TBA. |
