Artist History
Penny has been performing on the San Francisco and Los Angeles club circuit for several years. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, CA, Penny has been writing and performing music since the age of 10. Penny's songs and music have been aired on NBC's "Providence," CBS's "Jag," ABC's "Once and Again," WB's "Popular," and "Grosse Point." Penny's co-write, "Even Angels Fall" recorded by Jessica Riddle on Hollywood Records appears in the film "10 Things I Hate About You" as well as on the Soundtrack. Sales have now exceeded 500,000! "Even Angels Fall" was also released as Jessica's first single on her Hollywood Records Debut Album and was aired on commercial radio stations around the world, charting at #14 on the Gavin Report and #29 on R&R. Penny has co-written songs with Academy Award winning songwriter Tom Whitlock and Grammy Award winning songwriters, Jonathan Cain, Jeffrey Cohen, Dennis Matkosky, and John Capek. She has also written songs with Bonnie Hayes and Steve Seskin. |
