Artist description
Panhead comes from the nick-name given to the pan shaped heads on the Harley-Davidson motorcycles manufactured in the 50's. The panhead was a loud, rough idling, marvel only Milwaukee could produce. Similarly, Boston has produced it's appropriately named musical equivalent. This trio is known to emulate the rough idling sounds of the classic V-Twin engine. Just listen to the sounds of a tight well oiled machine. Any slippage of gears through the rhythmic ostinatos is completely intentional. Both bike and band were intended to be big and dirty. |

Artist History
Panhead continues to rock after more than seven years in the Boston rock scene. They have enjoyed touring the mid-west and receiving airplay from many college and commercial stations. The latest CD Look is getting a ton of airplay and attention in London. So much so that BMI has kept tabs and royalties due on the bands music in England. |
