Artist History
- MAHTH originally formed in early 1998. No name then. - After playing a whole lotta crap, finally ditch bassist and play as a 3 piece with Chris doing the Bass. -Enter'd local High School band competition - PEPSISMOKEFREEROCKQUEST '99. Missed out by one point from getting into the regional finals as the comp is a VERY comercial outfit judging not wholely on music but on stage acts, image, etc. Also we were the only metal band there, which didn't help considering about 90 percent of the other bands were all main stream rock/pop. Still, 1 point made the difference, so if we hadda put make up on or played in anything but our normal attire maybe we'd have gotten in. Ah well. Fuck it. -Recorded EP "Two Holes" with Dale Cotton. Due out soon (About november). -Played gig with HDU. -Stu Harwood joins MAHTH with Percussion-Matt Brook joins MAHTH with Bass-Played gig with Orbi |
