Artist History
Born in Maine, started music in 1977 in the great city of Boston. Spent 6 years in the Army Signal Corps Band at Ft. Gordon, GA as a percussionist (no, it has nothing to do with explosives). I also spent 17 years in the greater Augusta, Georgia area playing with my band "Nervous Boy" and doing solo shows. I lived in Concord, New Hampshire for a year & now
have moved to Maine (Portland area). I currently play many solo shows at bars, bookstores, coffeehouses, and sometimes I'll just show up at a stranger's house & play a show in their living room. I also just
completed a short stint in a Boston-based all original band called "Invisible Beatniks". Now I have a band at least in the same state as me; it's an all original trio (and I get to play bass!) called "The Amazing Zen Blackflies". |

Press Reviews
3 honorable mentions in 1991 BILLBOARD Song Contest. My Band's CD (NERVOUS BOY) reviewed in national songwriting magazine (Songwriter's Monthly). Played at Philadelphia Music Conference twice, and now there is an award in Augusta, Georgia for Favorite Lokal Bassist in my name. The Chris Hardy Award. This happened because I won the thing 4 years in a row, and then moved away. |
