    Artist History
Black Triangle was originally formed in 1995. Black Triangle is an all original Hard Core Metal band. Influences are Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, etc. Of course we have our own individual sound. Every member of this band is very dedicated. We all strive to bring back heavy music, but in a new way. We recently had one of our songs, "NO WAY OUT" used on the TV show, "The Pretender", it was the 1999 season Finale called "The End Game" It should rerun occasionally. Watch for it on NBC 9PM Saturday nights. We have just completed our first CD, self entitled "Black Triangle." Black Triangle has shared the stage with national acts, including Gilby Clark of Guns n' Roses, Skid Row and LA Guns. We also recently built our own website, www.blacktriangle.net. Black Triangle has had some very good press, including write-ups in Rock City News, Performer, Music Connection and Scratch magazine. We are promoting our own shows. We call them "Metallinnium Nights." At these shows we book the bands that play with us. This way we make sure the audience will be satisfied. They will always see Hard Core/Metal bands when they come to a "Metallinnium Night." Not to mention that we are creating a new metal scene, METALLINNIUM!!! Of course we are open to playing shows that are put on by other promoters. We are currently seeking management, record deal, tours or shows with major recording artists, or any kind of help we can get. We are very dedicated to this project, and are willing to work hard.BAND MEMBERS Michael Joseph - Vocals Neal Shelton - Lead Guitar Randy Dees - Lead Guitar Dan Leveille -Bass GuitarShawn Hill - DrumsFor band booking or any other info contact:Neal SheltonNeal's Music16458 Bolsa Chica Rd. BLACK TRIANGLE AND QUIET RIOT at The Boogie by Al B.-Rock City NewsBurning. Ripping. Tearing. Shredding. All of these words can be used to describe a live show from Black Triangle, one of the best heavy bands on all of the west coast. Right out of the gate, these guys came out blazing. This was by far the band's best show to date. Vocalist Michael Joseph was flawless and belted out notes that would make Bruce Dickinson envious. He was truly amazing on this night. Drummer Shawn Hill continued his display of double kick drum mastery by thumping his way through the band's entire set of a A Grade hard music material. Once again the rythym section of this ensemble was tighter than Jennifer Lopez' ass. Led by the incredible Neal Shelton, the band followed his chops perfectly. Lead Guitarist Randy Dees has a strong on stage charisma. His riffing is generally solid, although he seemed to be a bit drowned out in the mix. More importantly, the crowd was overwhelmingly in their favor. In fact, when all is said and done, it looked to me like BLACK TRIANGLE out drew Quiet Riot more than two to one. Not Your Friend Reveiws from Garageband.comReview from garageband.com from Dissonance-CanadaThis is one of the best songs i've heard on here yet! The guitar intro is incredible, it has an intensly kreepy sound, the guitar players should be commended, on the dramatics they place on the riff, same with the bass. The vocals are krisp, and very easy to understand, but also suit the song very well. The drummer one of the last people ever commended, you do a great job in this one. mr_president - Morristown, Tennessee your review (good band keep up the good work)this track is good your vocalist is good the lyrics are good and the beat is good you have done a good job mr_president - Morristown, Tennessee Cyburn - Seattle, Washington Hold on to yer Bitch!Right on. Socially Unacceptable Reveiws from Garageband.comskier0178 - Minneapolis, Minnesota Good work! This song is performed very nicely. This is one of the few songs that I bookmarked. Good job. tinker8125 - Vallejo, California I am looking forword to more tracks you allwow you really rock, keep up the good work Borderline - Eslöv, Scania, Sweden Retro MetalIs somebody from Metallica doing a solo project. This sounds just like early Metallica with hints of Anthrax, Testament and maybe a little Slayer, specifically all of those bands 80`s stuff. This is cool retro metal. The dualing vocals is a nice touch. Other than that, the guitars (cool solo) are nice and I`m pleased to hear the vocals singing and not grunting. On the other hand, it`s been done and had you played this 15 years ago you probably would already be signed. Well, retro is in so rock on! MusicCritic - Harrisonburg, Virginia YES - Metallica of old! What more do I need to say. I enjoyed this song. Great mix, don't change a thing! Rock on.
