Oh, I guess it seems longer than it has been...), it's harder than I'd like to find female artists to really get behind. Unfortunately in the past several years, for every "real" musician, for every Liz Phair, for every Linda Perry, there have been a dozen Christina Aguileras, a dozen Britney Spears thrown at us, and unfortunately the net result has been altogether too many clones of soul-less, contrived pretty girls pretending to be real artists. Tiffany Anthony is not only cleansing her name from the sour mall-touring 80's stigma attached to her identifier, she's proving that the independent music scene is alive and well, and capable of producing thoughtful, passionate rock that leaves you feeling something besides a cheap-heat Tiger Beat boner. Her latest works including her new single "If I Say So", available on her mp3.com web site, show that in the last few years, Tiffany has grown musically, and has developed the rare and beloved art of putting passion in music, in making songs that convey genuine emotions, sometimes owerful, often sexy, in a very real way. While Tiffany is a very attractive woman to be sure, she doesn't rely on shaking her breasts or prancing around in a thong to warm the cockles of your heart, she uses the lyrics in songs like "Say So" to put powerful, sexy imagery in your mind, which may remind you of someone you know, or maybe not, but will certainly push some buttons for you mentally.
