Artist History
The Phygz were part of California's central valley New Wave explosion in 1982. With 2 sessions of recorded material, the band opened for such notable names as The Tickets, The Gents, Lucky Lew and The Generics, and the Kenny Kullbaum Explosion. In 1984 The Phygz disbanded and all went their separate ways. They reunited in 1999 when lead singer/songwriter Danny Gwagwa was inspired by the coming out by one of the members of Boyzone and the media embrace it received. "One of us", the new single from the Phygz, was inspired by that noble event. |
