Artist History
Project Anomaly started about four years ago (1996), but at that time I was called Bandwidth Ripper. I did my music at that time in Impulse tracker, one of the worst trackers I've ever used. Of course,I've only really used two. Buzz was my second calling. This is when I changed my name to Anomaly. I did a lot of hard work in Buzz and put out an entire CD around my town of my music. It was mainly trance. I have bought a Roland Groovebox MC-303 to bring in the new mill-- I mean Y2K. After working a lot on my new songs, I realized that I'm sticking with music for a while, and its finally sounding the way I want it to. Oh yes, one last thing on how I got my new name. The name Anomaly was already taken on MP3.com (what a punk to steal my name), so I have chosen to actually mark the revolution in my music. Project Anomaly is the trancendence of my music from computer to physical machines. The project began 01/01/2k, when I finally began to write on both my physical equpment and in Buzz. Update 10/2/00 : Chris Morris joins Project Anomaly, just in time to play the local Occasion for the Arts in Williamsburg. |
