Artist History Starting out as a trio named "Plektrum", we performed mostly Rock&Roll standards. After acouple of years our drummer left for good and we did various recordings including a christmas song as "The Sincerity" which even made it into the Austrian Local Top 40. We finally christened our duo "Newington Green". This name comes from a bus station in London, Islington. We started to write more own songs and performed them on various occasions. With the help of friend and producer "George" Martin Purkert we compiled a stack of that songs and recorded the all accoustic album "Deep in my mind". After some break where we focused on our families, we started to continue our music work. New promising songs have been written and await recording in the new millennium.
