Artist description
Touted as the West Coast’s answer to Nas the storyteller, Mystery, backed by blistering tracks created by his ingenious brother Brendon "Big Zack" Zachary, has the raw creative vocal delivery to catapult him into recording history. Mystery is a definitive force to be reckoned with on the music scene. Born in Los Angeles, Chris Zachary started writing his own lyrics and working in the studio after being inspired by family friend DJ Uneek (Bone Thugs N Harmony key producer). After relocating to Mesa, Arizona, "Joker" became "Mystery" because he made so many moves behind the scenes. He became a promoter to bring recognition to local hip hop and R&B acts in Tucson, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Phoenix and Mesa. Not only did he arrange and promote shows but he also included himself as the opening act to hone his skills and delivery. He performed with Daz Dillinger, Westside Connection, Keith Murray, Mack 10, Coolio, Wu-Tang, and 112 on numerous occasions, before audiences of 7,000 to 40,000+. The album is entitled "To Hell and Back" and tells a powerful story from beginning to end. The definitive "B" side to "West Coast Ridahz," "Baby Girl" features up and coming Mexican singer Tracy Celaya and illustrates the commitment between a hustler and his woman. |
