Artist History
It all began in 1974 when I first heard Chicory Tip. I was stunned having never heared anything like it before. What kind of instrument could produce such wonderful sounds? Soon I learned it was something called a "Moog-machine". Later, upon hearing some of Walter Carlos' "Switched on Bach" again those same wonderful sounds. I found out the instrument was called a synthesizer. By 1976 my father had bought me a MiniKorg 700s. Immediately I began to make music using both an Akai tape recorder with sound-on-sound and an old Dynachord tape echo. I was in heaven... |
