Press Reviews
He may look a little like Elvis, he may sing a little like Elvis, but Daniel Young is not the King, he's not any other man than himself. Daniel's hot rockin', rock-a-billy country style simply smokes with uniqueness. Daniel shows that with his music, he's not afraid to get down to that funky sweat and energy that drives great music. Every song on this CD is beautifully written, and Daniel performs with masterful finesse. I found this CD to be both refreshing and enjoyable. This is the direction that Country music should be moving. There are several songs that I really liked, but the most notable are songs like "Part of the Game" and "Easy Street." Daniel adds a little bit of fun to his music with that infectious groove that has long been missing from modern country. The music is very danceable and full of energy, which makes it all the more worth while. Daniel has that great vocal style that can easily crossover into many other genres, but I liked what he did with this CD and I believe that most who hear it will also.-Michael Allison - THEGLOBALMUSE.COM |
