Artist description
Solo acoustic rock with a harder edge. Intimate, personal songs with stripped-down arrangements. The CD attempts to capture the feeling of a group of friends sitting around a living room together and playing acoustic music accompanied only by guitars, voices, and some miscellaneous percussion. The stripped-down arrangements leave the songs emotionally open and available. The music ranges from hard-rock to ballads, from latin, to funk, to the pure blues. Such musical diversity, coupled with lush vocal harmonies, introspective and personal lyrics, and catchy melodies ensure that there's something for everyone on this CD. |

Press Reviews
"Supercharged six-string strumming and thick, urgent harmonies... rousing and infectious... resemble[s] an acoustic-bound Geddy Lee... the minimal backing showcases Thomas' versatility with a hypnotic groove."- John Noyd, MAXIMUM INK; "Bouncy Folk Pop lends itself to Jam Rock undertones. Charles Thomas has a soulful voice that adds dimension to his coffeehouse acoustic/electric vibe." - Lycos |
