Artist History
At age fifteen I hitch-hiked from Detroit to Key West with a guitar and a harmonica and played for tips in "The Bull". After 20 years of club and studio work I settled in Orlando and built a studio in my home. I FINALLY took some time off to record some of my stuff, with the help of my four cats. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoy making it. |

Press Reviews
Orlando Sentinel: Bill Bairley is a musician's musician. Aside from his highly original writing style, Bill's is equally at home wrestling a snarling blues guitar, coaxing sounds out of a delicate nylon string, behind a smoking Hammond B3 organ or an intricate piano passage. Top it off with a scorching, soulful voice, and you have a musical force to be reckoned with. Best of all, you can feel and hear Bill's sincerity and respect for the music he creates.Gladys Mims, Ocoee,Fl: "Quite simply, Bill rocks my world."John Balder, Newsweek" "Who?"Betty Bairley,Bill's mom::He owes me two good ears, the bastard!" |
