Artist description
Animal 32 is far from your average bar band. This group prides itself in giving the people what they aren't getting from many music acts - fresh, original, finely crafted music. One listener reflected what many say, "The music is as if Rush had a child with U2 and the baby sitter was Prince, P-Funk, and a man they call "sweet American rock and f-ing roll." The music of Animal 32 is thought provoking while certainly not ignoring people’s need to shake what the good Lord gave ‘em.
Animal 32 has established themselves on the San Diego music scene as a talented, original act for over three years. Chris Cantore (91X) featured Animal 32’s "G-Spot ERA" on "The 9 O’clock Riot" and also featured vocalist, Shea Stratton on "Brand X Morning Radio" where he performed "Amazing Larry". "I loved it... Shea (Stratton) has the most amazing voice."- Chris Cantore. Shea’s performance received rave reviews from a usually brutal radio audience so much so that 91X replayed the performance several times. "Kid Antrim Music" also picked "G-Spot Era" for a nationally distributed compilation CD that includes bands from all over the Country.

Artist History
Nick Carvajal and Cameron Jasper met in 1997 at UCSD. The two hit it off musically, both loving and having knowledge in funk and many types of jazz. One day, Cameron met Devonte' Dotson, now a San Diego State Alum, at a music store. They found that they had a lot in common musically and have been playing ever since. In High school, Nick used to be in a band called "The Masters of Jive" with an amazing singer named Shea Stratton. Nick told Shea about Cameron and Devonte and invited Shea to move down to San Diego to start a musical experiment.

Press Reviews
"Their musical goal is an honorable one. You can hear traces of it as Animal 32 strain towards achievement. Threads of excellence emerge in songs like "Pinch", in which the vocal work is nothing short of fabulous". -Dylan Roberts, digitalcity.com
