Artist description
Ron weaves outstanding lyrics between the mystical notes from his keys and takes you on an effortless journey through time. His influences are relevant in his music, however, it is flavored with a style all of it's own. Often compared to such artists as Freddie Mercury, Meat Loaf, and Dennis DeYoung (Formerly of Styx), he pours his heart and soul, giving 120% to each and every performance and song. |

Artist History
Ron's interest in music began as a child when he would sing songs for company. Performing for a crowd seem to come easy. Ron began playing keyboards at age 8. Ron studied music and voice during his years in school with an ever growing interest in all styles and genres of music. Ron began writing music in 1986 and continued writing and groing musically while playing with such bands as Bittercreek, David King and the K.C. Band, Black White and Blues Band and London Calling to name a few. "I archived every piece of music that I wrote onto tape or whatever I could find to record with". 1993 saw the writing of most of the music on Beyond the Dream and includes a couple of new tunes from 2000. 1999 was an incredible year for new ideas which provoked the release of Afterglow, a bittersweet and melancholy look at life in some instances and an upbeat collection of melodies to keep it flowing. 1996 through 2000 he recorded the collection of songs featured on Legacy of Songs 1 and 2 in which he puts together a
autobigtraphical collection of tunes with a harder edge borrowing the talents of Steve Ott. Ron has never been the type to want to be catagorized in any genre of music which shows in his vast collection of Rock to New Age to Pop and Celtic music. Ron currently lives in Shippensburg, Pa. with his wife Laura and children Sarah and Heather and can be heard playing at such local festivals as the Shippensburg Fair and Corn Festival, Arts Fest in Harrisburg, Private Weddings and Parties and on radio stations on the east coast, England and Germany. Ron has had the unique opportunity of working and writing music with some very interesting and outstanding musicians in which he owes a great deal of gratitude. Every musical experience has been a learning tool in many different music stylings. Ron would like to thank all the musicians involved: Mike Noche, Joel Whalen, David Kirkman, Steve Ott, Rick Sullivan, Mike Ferry, Jo Braithwaite, Chuck O., Christopher Hann, Jodi Hillman-Taylor, Doug Walters, Chris Lits, Ralph Fries, E.J. Brown, Van Lewis, Tommy Thomasee, Sonny and Willa Coleman, Sonny Bags, Mike Rots, Ron Karns, Ron and Tim Bigler,
Jerry Fahnestock, Jerry Rhines, David King, Dale Stroup, Sam Boyer, Tommy Giordanno, Carrie Faye, Doug McMillin, Ray Hoover, Stan Hoke, Rick Gilliam, Dale Sharrah, and my brother Tom Cederlund and of course God. If I have forgotten anyone please accept my apologies. You know who you are and I would not be here with out your guidance and inspiration. In 1999 Ron started his own recording company called Ronster Monster Records and is affiliated with ASCAP as an artist and publisher for Ronster Monster Music |

"My favourite style is the melodic rockstyle which can be heard on the songs Heroes Never Die, You Hold the Power (Pretty cool keyboard driven AOR a la Phil Vincent, Joe Robinson), The Nightmare is Through (very nice 80's AOR chorus) and Please can you help me ? (best song, great AOR/Melodic Rock with good lead vocals a la Alfie Zappacosta!)". - Gabor Kleinbloesem, Editor of Strutterzine
