Artist History Mic Xcel has been rhyming since 1989. He has beenthrough various crews in South Florida like the N.otorious Y.outh C.ollaborators. Various names like Prophet-C and Mad Author identified this youthful ambitous rhymer.. The emergence X-Cel didn't appear until 1995 when he aligned with a group name the Skills Foundation.. 5 elite emcees formed to crack the surface with earth-shattering lyricsm.. Collectively featured in various events in Orlando, on-line websites and other functions that earned them a household name as upcoming and rising emcees in their craft. By 1998, Skills Foundation split leaving on two emcees Xcel and Hemys the XP. Both men decided that a change is needed to establish a new beginning and purpose. They formed Magnus.
