If you were to take a cross of DMB, BSB, and STP you might end up with something not really close to anything. We're not trying to sound like anyone, but I'm sure we do. Listen for yourself. |

Artist History
Justin ran into Allison one day and they started playing together. Two years later they finally found a drummer, Greg. Flashforward to 2000: they have recorded a full length CD and have been acclaimed by critics who only listen to their music because they're their friends. Flash to 2002: bassist Jason Toth has joined the crew, their second CD, Sprinklers in the Rain, has finished and a third CD is on the way. Who knows what the future holds for this band... We're on a couple upcoming compilations, see the page for that info. JAGKAZ has two full length records: 1999's "Insane Asylum," and the upcoming "Sprinklers in the Rain" 2000, which you can pre-order now from our website for only $10. |

Press Reviews
FROM DAIKI IN JAPAN COMES THE FOLLOWING REVIEW:Hi! What's up? How's your life going? Thanks for the CD!! I recieved it today!! and I listened it immediately!! That's GREAT!! COOL!! I like SKOOL!! When I listened it, I thought I want to make a CD with my friends someday. Please say congratulation and thanks for great sound to Allison and members. this CD became my favorite and my treasure!!Thank you Bianca, CamenLove, Daiki More international reviews from Steve in England... Hey guys (and Allison)... I just got your Insane Asylum CD from Allison today, but I wanted to address the band. All I can say is, despite how quickly you did it, and how stressed you may have been making it, but your first album is great! From what Allison tells me you've put a lot of effort, pizzas and donuts into this and 'what a result'. I just want to comment a bit deeper too... (I usually do). Greg, I think your drum skills are excellent, how long have you been playing? I play the drums, but only for recreation and not properly at that! You're sounding great... especially that solo in, hmm, Final Resting Place (I think). Keep it up... Justin, you're a natural singer for your type of music... seriously! It suits the style. I think Allison knows I collect rather than just buy music, and I know... you get some professional bands with great singers, but some don't match their band's style. I think it's also good that you're a band of friends as well as musicians, and that's what some bands lack... proper friendship, like Oasis! I personally can see Jagkaz going far, I've have seen a few friend's bands try and fail, but then again, I've seen a few not giving up and one is actually in a touring band now. Great lyrics too... well done Justin and Allison! Well, I've got to go. |
