Artist History
Intake Factor (formerly Beneath), based in Columbus Ohio, was formed in late September of 1996. The band consisted of Mike, Dan and their friend Josh. The band played its first show under the name Beneath on June 22, 1997 at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio. They didn't have a bass player at this time and had decided to play the show without one. Despite the lack of bass they were still deemed extremely heavy especially for not having a bass player. After searching long and hard, the band went back to there hometown and found a bassist by the name of Pat Teeters. After weeks of practicing and a final group approval, Pat joined the band. Weeks later due to copyright problems, the band was forced to change their name. Thus the band decided to change their name from Beneath to Intake Factor. |
