Artist History
Born in Stuttgart, Germany, this Montreal native grew up to the sounds of Detroit DJ's such as Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Derick May. At twelve years of age he was already mixing and creating his own tracks. SqUeAk doesn't find much time to release his own music, since he runs a record label. Yet instead of letting it collect dust on some shelf at the record company, he believes that people should share in the music and he has therefore placed his music on the web for free. Most of the music here has been designed for pure club play. Therefore, the tracks are longer and are a bit more base heavy since they have been mastered for Vinyl. SqUeAk has a long track record of working with the best of the best, in some of the most glamorous studios in the world such as Studio Morin Heights, Capital Studios and Radio City in NY. The tracks on here were never intended for release, since they are just his way of dealing with stress. And therefore, most of them were tracked and mixed with VST on his Gateway 2000. |
