Artist description
Yellow Five WAS a Nashville based melodic idie rock band based on boredom and a need to rock out. These tracks are the only studio recordings ever recorded, which were released in April of 1999 on the indepently release Greatest Hits Volume 3 album. We hope you enjoy them. It's members have now moved on to college and other musical adventures, but Yellow Five was great fun and the start of it all for some. |

Artist History
The band Yellow Five was formed in May of 1998. The young rock band played venues all over their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. They sold a few albums, headlined some competitions, recieved radio airplay, and had an enthusiastic and dedicated youthful following. Yellow Five was created by a blending of the established Nashville bands Pariah (Caldwell, Hardaway) and Fuzz (Hansen, Bell, Reiss), with the addition of singers Pistilli and Hardison/Hardaway. The songs were written mostly by Matt Bell. The band broke up in the summer of 1999, as members went their seperate ways for higher education. Bell, Caldwell, and Hansen are currently in the band Silent Friction. Reiss is in some band too. |
