Press Reviews Taken from "Eternal Darkness #13: Tondra-"Frost and Freezng Sun"- "Tondra are a dirgy and heavy four piece who seem to like to sing about Alaska and other cold things. With titles like "The Iceman Cometh", "Reach the Summit" and "Yukon Flats" you get the idea. This is actually some of the heaviest stuff I had heard in 1999 with just an outright FAT guitar sound the music chugs along at just above slow pace, almost tribally or trancelike are the riffs, very cool, especially "Reach the Summit".I guess you could call this doom/death metal but the subject matter doesn't necessarly coincide with other bands that talk of ilk, but for what it is worth Tondra does one hell of a job creating a cold and grim atmosphere!The band also does an unlikely cover of "T.N.T" by AC/DC which is heavier than anything Bon Scott or Angus ever dreamed of but still cool as bloody hell!"
