Artist History Broken was conceived in October 1993 when Kent (drums) and Robb's (guitar) band broke up, leaving them looking for something new. It was decided that Broken's sound would be fueled by a wall of guitars. Robert was brought in, adding heavy vocal melodies to a style of music that generally lent itself towards "yelling" the lyrics. Todd joined next adding a fat bass sound. Finally Mike joined adding his huge guitar tone, and original technique to the mix. The band played an impressive amount of shows in the Southern Califonia area between 1993 and 1996. In that time a four song cassette demo called "Special Thanks" was released, as well as a cassette version of "WOMANIZER". The "WOMANIZER" CD was completed, but never released. As often happens in bands, personalities eventually clashed, and the group broke up. The legacy of WOMANIZER was to be left unheard, until now! Thanks to mp3.com, I am now able to release WOMANIZER as a 14 track CD for only $7.99! It contains some very cool tunes that were a bit "ahead of their time" back in the mid 90's.
