Artist History
Matt and Kevin were writing songs trying to get a band together and Chris emailed Kevinin response to an ad for a drummer and bassist. They met...Chris introduced Kevin and Matt to Brian and downhearted was born. The downhearted was reincarnated to ursa minor, but when finding out that was already a name they made their public debut under the pseudo-name Graham Norton. Playing shows in the local Cape Cod area they established their fan base. Then GBrian moved away, and the boys recruted Garth Vader Percussionist Scott Damron. More shows, more establishment. The Norton's have been recording a cd since August 1999. Newer songs were contributed and made the E.P. an full length debut. more time has taken place as a result. Graham hopes to be released in march of 2001. |

Press Reviews
Reviews of "You're My Amphetamine"--There's crazy promise under there-I really like this song. This is my kind of music. It sounds a little rough, but I like what you have. For the verses, I really think that you should make the volume a lot softer and then punch in to the chorus as hard as you can. I like vocals, they sound rough as hell, but I like them anyway, your voice is very distinctive. I really like this song. I hope other people see the underlying talent that you guys have.--Simply Powerful-With weezer being one of my favorite bands, i must say that i really liked this song. It seemed to be heavy influenced by nirvana as well. I really liked the strong vocals going into the choruses. The solo was well performed.--THIS IS RAW-W/ lotsa of potential...I gave u a 5 (outta 5) & a this TRK really rocks award..If u can keep the rawness & a better prod. U guys r on your way.Where can i hear more?--pink town-i love the weezer-esque rock. i bet you are a fun band to hear in person. maybe turn up the vocals a little in the mix. good job keeping the interest level up with the pauses and solos with the guitars.---these submitted to our page on garageband.com |
