Artist description We have various forms of music including soul, rock, and traditional. The Gospel Group Witness has played at various churches and many different community functions throughout the state of New Mexico. Our music has been aired on KFLQ, KKIM, KUNM and KYLT radio stations in Albuquerque, NM. Excerpts from our "Peace in the Valley" CD, were used as background music in a video production about "Dismas House", which aired June 27th, 1997 on KNME-TV.

Artist History The group started in 1990 with Don Mock and Dennis Rogers. In 1993 as the group began to grow with new members, they decided that they would be witnesses for God through their music and testimony, and so they named themselves the Gospel Group Witness. There is a message in our music, and the message is Salvation through Jesus Christ. All of the male member of Witness are members of the "Promise Keepers" ministry, and attend New Life Baptist Church, where their father is the Pastor. They are both very active in various organizations in their church.There have been several personnel changes since 1993, when the first release "Peace in the Valley" was recorded. The current members have been together since 1994. Our music covers a wide range - soul, country-western, southern gospel, praise and worship, and traditional. A good deal of our music has been written by members of Witness.
