Artist description
SPIROS stands for "Spiritual Pirates In Retaliation Of Satan". The mission of this band is to reach out to the youth of today and show them that being a Christian is "cool". The band plays a STYLE of Christian Rock similar to Lloyd, Plankeye, Small Town Poets and The Waiting. But their SOUND really is a cross between Nirvana and the Goo Goo Dolls. The band is very young and is just starting out. They are very anxious and excited to be able to minister to youth by lifting up the name of Jesus with hard, rockin' Christian Rock & Roll! |

Artist History
"SPIROS" was founded by Lead Vocalist, Brett Keyser and Drummer, Rick Bishop in the spring of 1998 in Spartanburg, SC. It all started when the two were working together at a Go-Kart track and learned of how each other had played guitar and drums before. After a little talking, Brett and Rick decided to form a band. Starting out first with the name "In-8-Faith" then to "Final Destination" and ultimately to "SPIROS". They quickly jelled and within a few months they found guitar player Justin Brutosky. And well like they say, the rest is history! |

Press Reviews
"Swirling, distorted feedback gives this heartfelt pop with hammering guitars Psychodelic flavor. Lyrics about Jesus and feeling called give it a Christian Grunge flavor"--Mike McGuirt, Staff Writer Listen.com |
