Artist History The band SCHWARTAU was formed in spring ´95 in Darmstadt Germany by Mark Metzger and Jesper Steuernagel. The first release was the demotape "First Revelation" followed by the selfproduced CD "Sinister Revelation" in summer ´95. In the end of the year they played their first gig at the Goldene Krone Darmstadt. In spring ´97 they released the EP "Let Me In...". On the occasion of an open air festival in summer ´98 the CD "Unfinished" which containes demoversions of new material was released.During the last years SCHWARTAU played together with bands like Darc Entries, Lights Of Euphoria, Drown For Resurrection, House Of Usher, Psyche and Perfidious Words. At the moment SCHWARTAU are working on new songs for the next album.
