More recently, she won first place in the Great American Song Contest (Folk/Acoustic division) for her song "The Bakery", third place for her song "McDonald's", and an honorable mention for "Conceptions of Beauty". She also won 9th place this year in the Mid-Atlantic Song Competition for her song "Conceptions of Beauty".
