Artist description
Kicks Iron can hardly be called the normal, everyday indie band. With the help of an experienced production team, Kicks Iron's young players are not only getting an education in the recording business, but are learning how to stay alive in the ever-changing world of music. Mixing funk, Southern Rock, and Jazz, Kicks Iron is truly unique in terms of musicianship and melody. The Legend Kicks Iron is a Sioux Indian who has no recorded history on his life, but is well-known due to a collection of photography by Frank Fiske. Bob Hergert, a scrimshawartist from Oregon, saw the photo and essentially made his own piece of art by etching the picture into a piece of Mastodon Tusk-- |
