Artist History
Heather has been playing woodwinds since the fourth grade. From an early age, she developed her keen ability to "play it by ear". Ever since she first set lips to an alto saxophone, it become her voice of choice. Since then she has increased her expression to include soprano and tenor saxophones, as well as flutes, keyboards, guitars, vocals, and many other instruments. Heather has played with several notable acts such as Little Feat, the Comittments, the Drifters, and countless other top-notch bands. She has appeared at the famed Apollo in New York City. In addition to her work with various other artists, Heather has composed literally hundreds of pieces of music all her own, from classical to jazz to R&B to heavy rock. |
