Artist History
Headwork was formed back in 1992, by Dean Woods(drums/percussion), Jay (guitar and keyboards), and bassist Andy Clarke. However due to other commitments in 1994, Andy had to leave the band, leaving only Dean and Jay to pursue their musical quest, but with just two band members, obviously someone had to be sworn in. It wasn't until 1995, when they joined forces with singer/songwriter Tony Doors.Four years of hard work, were dedicated to buildinga large song base, including production and recording. Throughout this time the band used synth bass to add to the wall of sound, but it lacked the power needed. So, after many years of speculation, and persuasion, talented bassist, Andy Clarke was re-introduced to the band. Over the last year they have been working on the sound, getting the dynamics to puncture point. Now best described as a, "wall of sound". |
