Artist History A tribute to KissArmed with make-up, explosives, fireworks and the songs of the classical Kiss-albums 'Alive I, II and III', five confirmed Kiss-fans from Venlo (Netherlands)go to war to contaminate the rest of the world with a still very active Kiss-virus. During a whirling show Worldtripper, Soberman, The Spider, The Flame and Partyman interfere with covers of their idols: KISS. Alive 2000 was formed in 1998 by a few true Kiss-fans. They do not have the intention to clone this very successful band, rather to pay a just tribute to them. Not four, but five very enthousiastic musicians with their own original name and outfit exclusively perform the live songs from the albums 'Alive I, II and III'. After two successful try-outs, their live-debut was a headliner show for nearly 2000 visitors of MC Milestones summerparty in Süchteln, Germany on 21 august 1999. Their Dutch expedition had a much more modest start with a show on the International Tattoo Convention in Perron 55 in their hometown Venlo. At both shows the audience went wild. For the first time in ten years a Dutch audience sang along with the songs and kept singing long after the band left the stage. Blessed with an unbridled enthousiasm these five weirdos turn each show into a true party that non-Kiss-fans will enjoy just as much.Alive 2000 however doesn't plan to stick to playing just covers. They recently finished recording a song of their own. A song that of course is absolutely in line with the Kiss-tradition. More of those will follow to make a full-length CD within two years from now.KISS is ALIVE, the legend continues ....... ALIVE 2000 is ready to party!!!
