Artist description
The fusion of a moment, the moment you're reaching for the paper and the light goes 'plink'. |

Music Style
Each one of them absolutely hates the others' tastes in music. This results in an rather indefinable but angry style. From Britpop to 70's guitar virtuoso's, from the dark to the psychedelic, it's all got a little place in the sound. |

Musical Influences
Late nights, strip lighting and sweet coffee |

Artist History
The Secret Life of Andrew Aston were originally formed in 1999 by Andrew Aston, Oreste Fasolin & Gordon Bell in the north-easterly Swiss town of Basel, which also happened to be the home of the great medieval thinker Erasmus. Therein lies a paradox. The original intention was to bring the entire Swiss banking industry to it's knees. Steffi Plattner signed up straight away for this worthy crusade. They partly succeeded resulting in the immediate deportation of Bell back to serve as one of her majesty's loyal subjects in the UK. In the meantime the band soldiered bravely on to be joined by the veritable fly fishing hook maker Olivier Schmidt. Perturbed by the recent inflation in kebab prices in the UK, Bell returned late 2000. And the rest, as they say is future. |
