Artist History
The New Orleans R & B Company is a driving quartet of some of the finest musicians in the Crescent City. They have played together for over 10 years with all the best acts in the city of New Orleans. Frankie Ford, Jean Knight, The Coasters, The Drifters and Oliver Morgan are just a few of the stars they've worked with. They came into their own in 1998 after writing and recording the hit song, "That's The Mardi Gras!". They were featured on local television and radio stations during Mardi Gras 1999 and 2000 receiving rave reviews. Now they are a fixture on the scene, regularly performing at many venues throughout the Southeast. They were recently chosen to perform at the opening of the New Orleans Saints training camp in Thibodaux, LA and performed at the first home game of the 2000 season. The group was seen by millions during Mardi Gras 2000 leading the parade on the first float as the Grand Marshall's band in the Argus parade. They have appeared at the Back To The Beach festival, Ruby's Roadhouse in Mandeville, LA, WWL-TV's Eyewitness Morning News and as the featured weekend band at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans. They were featured at the Downtown Development District's After Work Concert Series, the Sunday Sunset Concert Series sponsored by Shore 104.7, the Madisonville Wooden Boat Festival and the Mobile Bayfest 2000 opening for Travis Tritt. |

Press Reviews
Identity Crisis is a tight collection of original songs, well arranged and recorded, that will appeal to music fans who prefer the sweet side of R&B. - Offbeat Magazine; If you can't make it to the Mardi Gras this year, "That's The Mardi Gras!" is guaranteed to make you feel like you're there. Blistering horns, bluesy piano, and parade ready drums are staples of this tune and the sound is close enough to the real thing to get the party hopping. - Bernie Cyrus, Louisiana Music Commission. "That's The Mardi Gras!" is destined to become one of the classic New Orleans Mardi Gras songs. - Times Picayune |
