sometimes (formerly "sometimes y") is an acoustic colaboration of musicians from twin falls, idaho. their music is heartfelt and sincere with very powerful lyrics. their song style is far from normal, containing strongly-constructed songs while still being based in improvisation. but hey, who am i to tell you who we are??? take a listen and see for yourself! :-) |

Artist History
sometimes formed under the name "sometimes y" in early 1997 as an acoustic songwriting project. since then, sometimes has grown apart from its original folf-based sound and has hit the pacific northwest hard. their 1998 debut independant release, "...a long week of sundays" is available in many area stores, and the band is planning to hit the studio again in the summer of 2000 for another one. recently, sometimes was named one of the "top 10 unsigned bands in the nation" and the "best band in the pacific northwest" by sam goody, pepsi, and gibson guitars. |
