Press Reviews
"Fusing together Celtic Music with blazing Bluegrass instrumentation and the everything but the kitchen sink percussion of Brian Melick, the McKrells continue to forge previously unexplored trails." ? Greg Haymes (Times Union)"We think it's time for them to be bigger than the Beatles." - Metroland Magazine Best Acoustic Band 1999. I first met the McKrells on a cold frosty night in Saratoga Springs...Only the ones who believe in their ability of writing and creating memories will pass the test of spirit's musical goal to be complete. The McKrells have that wonderful honor. I was knocked out by the songs and music they loved and played so well...Wonderful people, wonderful music, wonderful friendship. -Finbar Furey |
