Combining hard basslines and mysterious melodies with dark underground trance and symphonic sounds the music brings the listener into a state of hypnotism. Sit back and relax with smooth down tempo or get down to the progressive trance and dark house. Lord Of Progression will lead trance music into the year 3000 with progressive trance and down tempo music from the underworld. Welcome & Enjoy... |

Music Style
I have a unique style of music. It can be described as trance with a house twist in some songs. A lot of songs have strings or orchestra sounds in them. |

Musical Influences
I have been influenced in music by so many people and things that I can't describe them all here. I guess Daft Punk, Brooklyn Bounce, Armend Van Helden, EMINEM, Beethoven, and Bach have influenced me a lot. |

Artist History
Lord Of Progression started in September of 1999. The project started and wrote trance music. Since the beginning the styles written have expanded into down tempo, house, happy hardcore, techno, drum & bass, and new age. Lord Of Progression has always, and will always, consist of only one person, Chris. Besides just writing music, Lord Of Progression has also created an entire world around the music. The World Beyond... A world underground filled with dark trance and raves. I have been writing and creating music since I was 5 years old. I used to think up songs and keep them memorized in my head. Even when I was five, I had a dream to be a musician. When I was about 10 years old I got my first keyboard. This is when I began to build up my keyboarding skills. I began to write more advanced music. When I was twelve I got a larger keyboard with more advanced features. At that time I began to get into dance music. That was in 1995. I began writing and playing dreamy music (trance, down tempo, new age) and a lot of house, techno, etc. It wasn't long before I was recording my music to audio tapes on a home sterio mixer. By age 13 I had started really getting involved in house and trance music. On my home computer I started creating sample layered music (similar to MOD music, except that samples are all pre-mixed into one layer). When I first started making music on my computer it was a bit rough, but after about a year of mixing I got pretty good at it. Now I am fully into writing music using all sorts of hardawre and software. I use turntables, mixers, 303s, synths, and anything else I can find, as well as using various software. I no longer use just one format to write music. I use everything I can get my hands on, thus creating the best music I can! |

Craymo: "Ego The Truth has a great club feel, cool sounds. Juice Antix is awesome, definately hear some Kraftwerk influence in this tune and inBeyond Trippy which is very spacey, I hear it in a film soundtrack, veryfuturistic, I like it. Rain On Me is your party down club hit! Great groove, great breaks, great sounds, all around I think this one is your first moneymaker. I hear it in the clubs man, would love to dance to it, actually Idid! :) But even more so booming in a big club. I also think Clasher is abig club hit as well, it rocks! Fast and energetic, gets your blood pumping. You have great use of tones and sounds in your music, you have a very goodear. I definately hear the Robert Miles influence as well in a few of thetunes." Eric C: ". I've got to say, they're pretty kick ass, especially Clasher and Ego The Truth." Justin Peace: "Pretty nice stuff. I personally like Rainon Me. Nice fast beat." |
