Artist History
The band was formed one week into October 1997, in a small town called Skellefteċ located in the north of sweden.The original bandname was "Beyond" and the members where Jerker(vocals), Nicke(guitar) and Jimmy(drums). Shortly after Magnus joined to play bass, and soon also Andreas joined to play guitar.Their first demo "Tears of depression" was recorded on April 2nd 1998. Later, same year Jimmy quit, changes where made and Magnus changed to playing drums and Ronnie joined to play bass.A new demo "Mind collapse" was recorded in feb 1999.The band changes their music style a bit leaving the old-school stage to form a new harder sound.Later same year Nicke and Ronnie left the band and Fredde(guitar) and Henrik(bass) joined.A new song was recorded November 1999 ...Paint That Demon. During the year 2000 a member has left and a new has stept in. Magnus has left and Samuel has taken his place behind the drums. 2001 January 29 - Rage of Achilles - London releases "lineout" a 7" vinyl,(www.rageofachilles.clara.net). A full-lenght CD is coming later this year... |
