    Artist description
It is always a thrill for any of us to discover something new and exciting in our lives. Blind Fury fulfills that human need for excitement as one of the hottest bands in the west. "Live" they open eyes wide with their blistering works that brings on ferocious head banging. Crowds get real serious with this rock --real quick. Blind Fury plays vigorously hard melodic rock. And when you least expect it, a new romance with a very special form of heavy rock overcomes you. It is not hair, it is not angry. Blind Fury is an aggressive, racy form of rock music that simply blitzes your senses and jars your bones with authority in sound, skill and overall power performance. Their domineering character in heavy rock on stage, is the real deal. They are a thrill to watch live.

I am not one of these metal snobs that gets all worked up when a band wears their influences on their sleeve. Pissing Razors shot out of Pantera, eliminated the guitar solos, and went full-on extreme Texas metal. Primal Fear does Halford era Judas Priest almost better than Priest themselves. There is a reason that people love these bands and if the music is that good, then why not have more of it? It is just heavy metal. Let us not forget that. For those of you that may not agree with me then, by all means, please kiss my ass. So it should come as no surprise that I had no problem with the very Priest-sounding Steamroller by Boise Idahos Blind Fury. I am mainly talking about the Priest musical styles present on Sin After Sin and Hell Bent for Leather, as opposed to, say, Screaming For Vengeance. Of course, I can not tell you definitively that the band members actually point to Judas Priest as a major influence, but the sound came from somewhere and that is fine by me. I grew up with this stuff and I am glad that there are musicians out there that liked it enough to keep it alive into the 21st century. Master of Illusion, starts thing off with some very Halford-like singing and it is just old-school heavy metal from that point forward. With searing guitar solos and solid rhythm guitar work, the style is quite European, although not in the power metal sense. Songs like Another Day in Paradise, are straight up metal marches. The title track sounded the most like Priest to me and the songs climax reminded me specifically of the Sin After Sin classic Sinner. Power of Illusion and In the Night are the metal ballads (Priest style not Warrant style). Hey, it is all good. No, Blind Fury does not sound like Judas Priest in the way that Primal Fear does, but the sound and feel are there. I liked it. Scott from ZWARP.com They are taking over the radio world in a hurricane driven landslide on such stations as QUER 104.6 Karlsruhe Germany, 107.9 FM University of Londrina/Brazil, Dead Westgang/Frankfurt/Hennson Germany, J-105 105.5 Boise Id USA , K-BEAR 101 Salt Lake City USA, LIVE 365 ROCK-N-RADIO which is worldwide and are in full rotation where they received 4 out of 5 star rating from the stations listeners, and all 5 songs listed on their site at mp3.com are currently No. 1,2,3,4,5 on Idahos mp3, and also have a song on Metal X radio on their top 25 list. Their cd "Steamroller" was reviewed by Bryan Reesman , freelance writer for Billboard Magazine, Metal Edge, Mix and many more, and he gave the band a great review.
