Artist History
Girl Scouts on Heroin have been together since 1997, meeting at Lavery's Back Bar where Glin Magee was opening for Nixon, a cover of Bjork's "human behavior". Girl Scouts on Heroin consists of Glin Magee (programmer and sequencer), and Eric (ambient music generator, additional noise, and chaos creator). After a long time making crazy noise, Girl Scouts On Heroin decided they wanted to do something different. The emotion was there with Girl Scouts. But they wanted music to cry to. Glin decided to bring his coincidentally named girlfriend into the band and create a new project called alida. So, now its a threesome. Enjoy. This is for all the people who think that electronic music has no soul. "A computer is just an instrument, of course it has no soul. Someone has to put it there." - BjorkBoth Eric and Glin continue working on GSOH and other side-projects. Eric has collaborated with Kurt Cobain! (the band), mostly influenced by the KLF's and the JAMS ideologies. Glin Magee, aka, cl0udy, cloudactive, inook, anonymous, among many others, collaborated with Devil Truk, Downer, Skinny Kid, and The Papercuts. |
