Artist History 1970 has its roots in a artist collective in downtown Bergen. It consists of bands like KandyKorn, Tarotplane, Disaster Area, Havregrøtens Venner (Friends of the Oatmeal) and Safe as Milk. KandyKorn recently made it to the final in Eggstokk-festivalen (The Ovary-festival, "unofficial Bergen Championship in Rock for amateurs").
