Artist description The W.A.V.E. (Wayward Anthology of Vancouver Entertainers) is a compilation of 16 popular Vancouver bands. Artist History The VANCOUVER MUSIC SCENE rises from the ashes in the year 2000! Like the fiery phoenix or Prometheus from the grave it is apparent that the Vancouver music scene has been hibernating, brewing a unique blend of sounds. Press Reviews These 16 Vancouver area bands have collectively attained ten number one singles on mp3.com in 1999. WAVE stories have been printed in The Georgia Straight and have aired on VTV's "Breakfast Television" and "6 o'clock news", CTV's "Digital Desk", and on Much Music's "MuchWest" in early March. Most recently, WAVE had the cover story on The Westender!
