Artist History
The Unstuck formed in 1997 when Dave "Gus" Dudley took out an ad seeking people wanting to form a band with "energy over ability". Brad Nelson answered the ad, and after a few other people tried out, brought in old friend Brian Tierney, and the line-up was set. The Unstuck played their first show in July 1997, and since then have played across the midwest. The band released their first self-produced CD, "Jerry Cooler", in June 1999. |

Press Reviews
"It's a great record, and if you've seen them live, it's really true to their live show. If you haven't seen them live, this CD is a perfect introduction...They're a great band with really good lyrics and powerful melodies...They remind me a lot of The Clash...They're a drinking band. I don't drink much, but whenever I see them, I feel like having a few." - Don Watson; "The Review" TV Show."Strong, solid garage rock...Most of this CD sounds influenced by Husker Du...this band is very tight, and you will certainly notice their punk attitude and sound which has touches of ska and rockabilly." -"Toast" magazine. |
